Who?

Code Club is suitable for both beginners and intermediate coders.

We will be using a word based block code so a level of reading will be needed in each session.

Home Educators Code Club is a great way for your children to learn new skills or develop existing knowledge, solve problems, hone their computational thinking strategies and make friends.

Suitable from age 8 - 16

What?

Our Home Educators Code Club will cover a wide range of coding and computational thinking skills and strategies through a series of open tasks and challenges.

The app we use is similar to Scratch with block-based coding language. It is incredibly user-friendly and allows children to rapidly grow in confidence from coding very simple movements and sounds to developing a much richer and deeper understanding of coding, where we introduce conditions, variables and complex code.

when? Where? Cost?

Sessions will take place every Wednesday afternoon from 1.00pm-2.15pm. At The Parkhouse Centre in Bude.

You will be able to block book sessions in a 6 week block from 5th June to 10th July or drop in to individual sessions.

Cost of the sessions will be £9.00 per week or £8.00 per week if you block book.
